A Boy's Will

The colors of spring are reflected on my three sons
sweet faces and in the soft colors of the pre-embossed
velveteen. Enhancing with chalks adds
depth and intensity to every element imaginable.

Silohuette cut along floral design as shown and mark matted photo placement with vanishing ink pen. Apply all colors with chalk applicators and using chalk enhancer, reapply colors to create shading and bold color accents. Adhere photo, cutting floral design to overlap photos edges as shown and secure velveteen to chipboard background.

Cut ivory cardstock to 4 x 6 rectangle and apply broad strokes of each color in varying band widths as shown. Tear paper along color boundries (tearing left side of paper towards you will leave an ivory ragged edge on right side). Re-assemble rectangle, exposing ragged edges, and glue all pieces on larger rectangle of ivory paper.

Affix sticker over torn color rectangle and trim all edges. With enhancer, add chalk to interior of metal rim tags. Punch three holes along bottom and thread with ribbon strung tags. Glue paper flowers on tags to finish.
