Follow the instructions below to make this beautiful scrapbook page
using Liquid Appliqué.
Brooke
My niece, Brooke, is the prettiest thing on this page! I wanted to play up the lilac color all around her, so I color copied this photo on lilac cardstock. This enabled me to scratch the photo's edges and to paint Liquid Appliqué on the flowers behind her as well as on the vellum.

Instructions
1. Begin by squeezing out a THIN line of Liquid Appliqué over highlights of flowers and leaves and smooth out each line with a paintbrush. Heat or allow to dry overnight.
2. Cut out center butterfly and flowers. Add torn strips of lilac vellum, tucking under profile cuts.
3. (Optional) Color copy photo on lilac cardstock and scrape off print at edges with craft knife. Tear outer edges and repeat step 1 with photo.
4. Add die-cut letters (with Liquid Appliqué edges), vellum cut-outs and photo as shown. Mount vellum on torn purple and white cardstock as shown.
5. Add journaling (chill pens in refrigerator to increase ink flow).
